Sleep Apnea San Diego is a specialized dental practice which assists Sleep Physicians in the treatment of sleep disordered breathing. Dr. Steven Danney is a Diplomate and Board Certified Dentist with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). His mission is to guide our patients to receiving appropriate treatment for their sleep condition and to assist sleep and primary care physicians by providing an alternative treatment protocol to CPAP where indicated.

*Diplomates of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) have received the highest credential a dentist can earn in Dental Sleep Medicine. To earn this qualification, dentists are required to demonstrate competency in Dental Sleep Medicine and must pass a rigorous written examination. Dentists who are Diplomates of the ABDSM have demonstrated that they have the skills and knowledge essential for delivery of excellent patient care. The ABDSM believes higher standards for dental sleep medicine translate into better care for patients and greater accountability. The ABDSM credential is widely recognized as the gold standard for excellence in dental sleep medicine.
